Margam Country Park is an estate set around a restored 19th century Tudor gothic mansion. The estate includes areas of broadleaved, coniferous and mixed woodland, scrub, grassland and bog. There is a wide variety of wildlife to be seen along with a deer herd which includes the endangered Pere David species. Other attractions include a steam train, a discovery centre, a play area, a "Wood Vibrations" trail and a Farm Trail.
