Any young person can do their DofE – regardless of ability, gender, background or location. Achieving an Award isn’t a competition or about being first. It’s all about setting personal challenges and pushing personal boundaries.

Maerdy Youth

Maerdy Youth Group was established in January 2015 and meets at and is managed by Canolfan Maerdy in Tairgwaith. However, it is an independently constituted group and has over 270 registered members aged between 11 and 18. The youth meet weekly on Wednesday and Thursday evenings between 5.30 and 8pm and Saturday mornings.
